The Homocysteine Level (Urine) Test measures the amount of homocysteine excreted in the urine. It is primarily used to diagnose homocystinuria, a rare genetic disorder affecting amino acid metabolism. This test is less commonly used for cardiovascular risk assessment compared to the blood homocysteine test.
