TLC (Total Leukocyte Count) and DLC (Differential Leukocyte Count) are important tests used to assess the number and types of white blood cells (WBCs) in a fluid sample, which helps in diagnosing various infections, inflammations, and blood disorders. Both tests can be performed on different types of body fluids such as blood, pleural fluid, ascitic fluid, synovial fluid, and CSF.
