An Eosinophil Count is a blood test that measures the number of eosinophils in the blood. Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that plays a key role in the body’s immune response, especially in relation to allergic reactions and parasitic infections. This test is often included in a complete blood count (CBC) with differential or as a standalone test.
