C-Peptide Level
Over the last 5 Years we made an impact that is strong & we have long way to go.
The C-peptide test measures the amount of C-peptide in the blood. C-peptide is a byproduct of insulin production in the pancreas. It is produced when proinsulin (an inactive precursor of insulin) is split into two parts: insulin and C-peptide. The test is used to evaluate insulin production and to help differentiate between various causes of abnormal blood sugar levels.
