The Dengue (IgM) test detects the presence of IgM antibodies in the blood, which are produced by the body during the early stages of a dengue virus infection. The IgM antibodies are typically the first antibodies produced by the immune system in response to an infection and can usually be detected within 3 to 5 days after symptoms appear.
