The Cystic Fluid for C/S test involves taking a sample of fluid from a cyst and sending it to a laboratory to be cultured for microbial organisms such as bacteria, fungi, or mycobacteria. The culture is performed to identify the causative organisms if an infection is suspected in the cyst, and a sensitivity test is done to determine the most effective antibiotics or antifungal drugs to treat the infection.
