A Conjunctival Swab Left C/S (Culture and Sensitivity) refers to the collection of a sample from the conjunctiva (the thin membrane that covers the white part of the eye and the inside of the eyelids) of the left eye to identify any microbial infection (bacterial, viral, or fungal) and determine which specific microorganisms are present. The swab is then cultured in a laboratory to identify the pathogen and perform sensitivity testing to see which antibiotics or treatments are most effective against it.
